据潇湘晨报报道，近日，有许多网友发帖称，知名痔疮用药太宁栓涨价10多倍。“线上最便宜的时候22.5元/盒，现在同样规格的太宁栓已经涨到398元/盒。”
4月8日，记者从两家知名外卖平台上搜索发现，长沙同城药店目前均不再销售太宁栓这一药品，市民仅能从部分大药房的线上平台购买。目前在售的3.4gx6枚/版规格的太宁栓价格也有较大的变动，均价在250元左右。有广东网友表示，2月初还能购买到12颗版的太宁栓，价格仅需39.9元。
另外，据中国经营报报道，拼多多平台显示，太宁栓（6枚）的价格普遍在200元左右，12枚规格的价格普遍在400元左右。淘宝、京东等电商平台上太宁栓的价格也与拼多多的基本一致。另外，部分网上药店的图片显示在销售太宁栓，但实际上销售的是其他品牌的相关产品。

据中国医药信息查询平台2023年3月发布的信息，太宁栓（通用名：复方角菜酸酯栓）的市场价格大概在23—68元。
据了解，太宁栓是患者对该药的简称，其通用名为复方角菜酸酯栓，商品名为太宁。生产厂家是西安杨森。
据西安杨森官网，该药用于痔疮及其他肛门疾病引起的疼痛、瘙痒、肿胀和出血的对症治疗；亦可用于缓解肛门局部手术后的不适。
“太宁栓，没有你我可怎么活？”据潇湘晨报报道，一位安徽的网友“清清”告诉记者，自己是一位肛裂患者，“大半年没犯过（病）了，上个月底上完厕所觉得很痛，就立马想着买盒太宁栓回来用用，没想到找了一圈都没有。”清清表示，自己从患上肛裂后，在医生的推荐下一直使用太宁栓，“之前价格很便宜，而且一用上就不疼了，效果很好。”清清希望，有医药厂家能够尽快出个替代品。
太宁栓在孕妇群体中也广受好评。网友“可可”在得知太宁栓停产后表示，“孕妇没有这个才难，能用的痔疮药基本只有这个。”
而据中国经营报报道，记者注意到，网上流传西安杨森2023年10月给下游客户发的沟通函，2023年11月起已经停止供应太宁栓。
4月6日，记者电话咨询了西安杨森客户关爱中心。
西安杨森客户关爱中心工作人员介绍：“关于太宁栓，我公司从2023年11月起就停产了。基于复方角菜酸酯主要活性原料为天然提取且不可再生，目前全球范围已无原料可持续供应生产。现在能否购买到这款药，就看市面上有没有存货，存货就是公司停产之前生产的药品。复方角菜酸酯是公司在爱尔兰指定的海藻中提取的，现在全球范围内没有这个原料了。公司已经向国家药监局递交了撤市申请。以后也不会生产该药品了。关于药品的零售价格，公司作为生产厂商不对药店渠道的任何价格进行干涉，包括零售价格。”
太宁栓停产后，痔疮患者如何替代用药？对此，西安杨森客户关爱中心工作人员介绍：“公司没有该药品的替代药品。建议患者就医咨询，由医生根据患者疾病严重程度开具替代的药品。”
据腾讯医典，太宁栓为复方制剂，其组分为角菜酸酯、二氧化钛、氧化锌。角菜酸酯系海藻提取物，可以在肛门直肠黏膜表面形成一层膜状结构，并长时间地覆盖于黏膜表面，对有炎症或受损的黏膜起保护作用，而其所产生的润滑作用可使粪便易于排出。二氧化钛和氧化锌有止痒和减轻肛门、直肠黏膜充血的作用，从而保护黏膜。
对于太宁栓停产，有不少网友表示惋惜。
