日前，对于上述说法，红星新闻记者联系了多所高校人事处，得到回应称，招聘不会排斥东南亚博士。一些东南亚在读博士也表示，不会把学历当做进入高校的敲门砖。

21世纪教育研究院院长熊丙奇认为，此前不少高校对教师的招聘、管理、晋升都提出了要有海外博士学历的要求，要提高博士教师的比例，甚至有的高校组织教师到海外读博。实际上都在追求功利性目标，造成近年来“水博”被质疑的情况。现在一些学校开始调整用人思路，从重视教师学历向重视教师能力转变。这个过程不是不要教师学历，而会评价教师学历是怎么获得的，加强对教师学历的把关。这也给“混学历”和没有真正付出的博士生提了醒。

一名马来西亚的在读博士告诉红星新闻记者，近两年，即便是身边毕业于马来西亚QS排名200名左右学校的博士，回国就业时也得不到国内高校的认可。“有一些学校一看我们是马来西亚博士就说不考虑了。”

这名在读的博士提供的一张截图显示，江苏某省属师范类院校招聘时明确“博士，40周岁及以下，不太考虑东南亚、日韩等国”。另一张截图显示，某高校的通知称“自即日起，原则上不引进东南亚、韩国等大学毕业的学科竞争力不强、发展潜力不足的博士，对于当前已在职攻读东南亚、韩国等大学博士的教师，在取得教育部认证博士学位后，经学校审批同意予以备案，回校不享受安家费、科研启动费及校聘副教授绩效等相关待遇。”

但上述两张截图没有明确出处。记者根据这名博士和网友提供的线索向相关高校求证，其均表示不会因为博士毕业的学校而有所歧视，具体要根据提交的资料来判断。

一名菲律宾的在读博士表示，之所以来菲律宾读博就是因为欧美博士申请率低，到菲律宾申请率高，而且节省时间成本，在国内读博可能需要五六年还难以毕业。自己不追求去高校求职，因为东南亚博士学历去高校做敲门砖不太现实。

王女士执教于重庆某高校，去年她进入马来西亚精英大学读博士。王女士介绍，身边也有大批中国留学生，其中大部分已经在国内有工作，很多人原本是国内二本或高职的教师。身边同学多数不会把东南亚博士作为求职的敲门砖。尽管有人对东南亚博士含金量提出质疑，但就自己来说，未来晋升、评职称影响不大，可能会在申请科研项目的时候有一些不利影响。她现在了解到，东南亚博士报考的人也不少。
