易混词辨析
identify、identity、identical、identifiable vs identifiable
1. identifiable：形容词 “可识别的；可辨认的”（如 identifiable features 可识别的特征；an identifiable problem 可辨认的问题）；
2. 与 identify（动词 “识别；确认”，如 identify a suspect 确认嫌疑人；identify with sb 认同某人）混淆词性 ——identify 是动词（identify sth），identifiable 是形容词（identifiable sth），不可说 “identify features” 作形容词，应为 “identifiable features”；
3. 与 identity（名词 “身份；同一性”，如 identity card 身份证；sense of identity 身份认同感）区别：identity 是 “身份或同一性”，identifiable 是 “可识别的属性”（identity of the thief 小偷的身份，identifiable marks of the thief 小偷的可识别标记）；
4. 与 identical（形容词 “完全相同的”，如 identical twins 同卵双胞胎；identical to 与…… 相同）区别：identical 是 “相同的”，identifiable 是 “可识别的”（identical clothes 相同的衣服，identifiable clothes 可识别的衣服）；
5. 常见错误：identifiable 后接 “by sth”（identifiable by its color 可通过颜色识别），不可接 “with sth”（identifiable with sth 错误）。
