short、hand、shorthand、abbreviation、stenography
1. shorthand：名词 “速记（法）”（如 take notes in shorthand 用速记记笔记；learn shorthand 学速记），合成词不可拆分为 “short + hand” 理解（非 “短的手”）；
2. 与 abbreviation（名词 “缩写（如单词缩写）”，如 “Mr.” is an abbreviation of “Mister” “Mr.” 是 “Mister” 的缩写）区别：abbreviation 是 “文字缩写”，shorthand 是 “专门的速记符号系统”（abbreviation 可日常使用，shorthand 需专业学习）；
