repair、renew、restore
1.restore（动词，及物）：“恢复；修复；归还”（侧重 “恢复原状或归还，如 “restore health” 恢复健康、“restore an old building” 修复古建筑、“restore a book to the library” 把书归还给图书馆”）；
2. repair（动词 / 名词）：“修理；修补”（侧重 “修复损坏的物品，如 “repair a car” 修车、“repair a hole” 补洞”），比 restore 更侧重 “修理损坏部分”；

单词用法
restore作“归还”解时，指把不属于自己的东西还给物主，用作及物动词，接名词或代词作宾语。restore作“使恢复”解时，指通过治疗使某人恢复知觉、健康或精力，用作及物动词，接名词或代词作宾语。restore作“修复，重建”解时，指对旧建筑，旧绘画或旧家具加以修理和清整，使其恢复到原来面目。用作及物动词，接名词或代词作宾语。restore后常接介词to，表示将某物放回原处、归还给某人或恢复到某种状态，该结构多用于被动语态。
