易混词辨析
mentioning、referring、noting
1.mentioning（动词现在分词 / 名词）：“提及；说起”（如 mentioning his name 提及他的名字；the mentioning of the issue 提及该问题），侧重 “简单、随意地提到”；
2. referring（动词现在分词 / 名词）：“提及；参考”（如 referring to the book 参考这本书；referring to the incident 提及该事件），侧重 “明确指向或参考某物”，mentioning 是 “泛泛提及”；
3. noting（动词现在分词 / 名词）：“注意到；记录”（如 noting the time 注意时间；the noting of details 记录细节），侧重 “注意或记录细节”，mentioning 是 “口头或书面提及”；
4. 注意 mentioning 搭配 “mention sth. in passing”（顺便提及某事），referring 搭配 “refer to sth. as”（把某物称作），noting 搭配 “note that”（注意到…）。
