1. limit：动词 / 名词，“限制；限度”（搭配 “limit the number to 10；a time limit；limit sth to”），可作动词 / 名词，侧重 “数量或范围限制”；
2. restrict：动词，“限制；约束”（搭配 “restrict freedom；restrict movement；be restricted by”），仅作动词，侧重 “行为或自由限制”，无 “数量” 含义；
3. limitation：名词，“局限性；限制”（搭配 “the limitation of technology；overcome limitations”），指 “自身的局限性”，非 “主动限制”，易误写 “set a limitation” 代替 “set a limit”（limit 表 “主动设定的限制”）。
