易混词辨析
grant、given、take for granted、granted vs granted
1. granted：动词 grant 的过去式 / 过去分词（如 The request was granted 请求被批准了）、连词 “诚然；固然”（如 Granted, he is young, but he is capable 诚然，他年轻，但有能力）、短语 “take for granted” 中 “granted” 是过去分词（如 take sth for granted 认为某事理所当然）；
2. 与 grant（动词 “同意；授予”/ 名词 “拨款；授予物”，如 grant a request 批准请求；grant sb a degree 授予某人学位；government grant 政府拨款）混淆词性 ——grant 是动词 / 名词，granted 是分词 / 连词（不可说 “grant, he is young”，应为 “granted, he is young”）；
3. 与 given（连词 “考虑到”，如 given his age, he did well 考虑到他的年龄，他做得很好）区别：granted 是 “承认事实”，given 是 “考虑条件”（granted he is busy 诚然他很忙，given he is busy 考虑到他很忙）；
4. 短语 “take for granted” 易错点：① 漏 “for”（take sth granted 错误）；② 被动语态 “sth is taken for granted”（某事被认为理所当然）；
