易混词辨析
answer、responsible、accountable、answerable vs answerable
1. answerable：形容词 “应负责的；应解释的”（搭配 answerable to sb for sth 对某人就某事负责，如 He is answerable to the manager for the project 他需就项目向经理负责）；
2. 与 answer（动词 “回答；负责”，如 answer a question 回答问题；answer for 对…… 负责）混淆 ——answer for 是动词短语，answerable 是形容词（be answerable for= answer for）；
3. 与 responsible（形容词 “负责的”，如 responsible for 负责……）区别：responsible 是通用 “负责的”，answerable 更正式，强调 “需向他人解释或承担后果”（responsible for the team 负责团队，answerable to the team for decisions 需就决策向团队负责）；
4. 与 accountable（形容词 “有责任的”，如 accountable to 对…… 负责）近义，可互换，但 answerable 更侧重 “需回答或解释”，accountable 更侧重 “需承担责任”。
