新华社大马士革10月7日电 叙利亚国防部7日发表声明说，叙军当天击落7架针对居民区的无人机。
声明说，7架来自“恐怖组织”的无人机当天在叙北部阿勒颇省、中部哈马省和西北部伊德利卜省上空被击落。这些无人机针对居民区，目的是“恐吓居民并破坏公私设施”。

The Syrian military shot down 7 drones targeting residential areas
Damascus, Oct. 7 (Xinhua The Syrian Defense Ministry said in a statement on the 7th that the Syrian army shot down seven drones targeting residential areas on the same day.
The statement said seven drones from "terrorist groups" were shot down over the northern province of Aleppo, the central province of Hama and the northwestern province of Idlib. These drones target residential areas with the aim of "terrorizing residents and damaging public and private facilities."
A military academy in Homs province in central Syria was attacked by a drone on the 5th while holding a graduation ceremony. The Syrian Health Ministry said on the 6th that the attack had killed 89 people and wounded 277 others.
